The woodland garden (Silverwood) is flourishing with camellias, magnolias and species rhododendrons.

Lady Mary’s ‘Botticelli Meadows’ where colourful tulips are randomly planted in the wildflower meadows are blooming with colour.

Davidia involucrata, or more commonly known as the ‘handkerchief tree’ is in full flower, with a striking display of white floral bracts. The handkerchief tree originates from South West China and attained its name by resembling dangling handkerchiefs or doves resting on the branches.

Finish off with a snack, lunch or tea in the elegant Earl Grey Tea House – you may spot a red squirrel feeding outside the window!
